Caroline Roe

Under the name Medora Sale, Caroline Roe has penned six police procedurals, including an award-winning novel. These stories unfold in and around Toronto, featuring homicide detective John Sanders and architectural photographer Harriet Jeffries. As Caroline Roe, she draws upon her doctoral research into medieval religious diversity to craft the character of a 14th-century Jewish physician to the Bishop of Girona, a doctor with influential patients and a keen eye for wrongdoing. Roe is a former president of both Crime Writers of Canada and the international board of Sisters in Crime.
