„NeuroKids“ addresses clinical challenges in child neurology through an innovative workbook and app. Building on the concept of mind maps, it enhances traditional textbooks to deliver targeted information. A uniform classification system facilitates quick orientation, with Paediatric Clinical Scouts (PCS) offering a concise knowledge overview and guiding diagnostic and therapeutic decisions. The PCS focus on individual patients, equipping professionals with skills for emergency care, managing chronic illnesses in children and adolescents, and providing rehabilitative and palliative therapy. Additionally, it features a comprehensive, internationally oriented drug register and detailed schemes for neurological and developmental examinations based on best practices. The project has received endorsement from the European Paediatric Neurology Society (EPNS), highlighting its significance in training and educating both new and experienced paediatric neurologists. The collaboration involves institutions such as Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and its associated medical centers, emphasizing a commitment to advancing child neurology education and practice.
