From a young age, this author cultivated a vibrant imagination, crafting intricate stories with dolls and household objects in her family's Brooklyn apartment. Her early play, set beneath the kitchen table or within the bathtub, transformed ordinary spaces into imaginative landscapes. The introduction of a turtle into her narrative worlds, coupled with the development of her writing skills in elementary school, laid the foundation for her literary pursuits. After exploring various writing careers post-college, she discovered that writing novels reignited the same profound sense of imaginative immersion she experienced as a child.
