Second Nature

This novel is set on a tiny island. When Robin, a divorced mother of a teenage boy, brings home a handsome, if slightly strange, off-islander named Stephen, the whole island is alive with rumour. When someone starts prowling around the island at night, suspicion falls on Stephen.
