More about the book
In this clever and romantic debut, readers are reminded that fate has a sense of humor and love can blossom in unexpected moments. Franny Doyle is having a disastrous day—laid off from her job, her favorite dress ruined, and an embarrassing incident on the subway. However, a dashing stranger, Hayes Montgomery III, comes to her rescue, only to flee quickly afterward. Their mishap becomes a social media sensation, with everyone shipping #SubwayQTs, despite the fact that Franny and Hayes seem like a mismatched pair. Franny is whimsical and chatty, while Hayes is serious and reserved. Fortunately, in bustling New York City, they can avoid each other. Yet, fate keeps bringing them together, and they discover an unexpected connection. As Franny's life takes another unexpected turn, she must find the courage to trust herself and pursue the love she truly desires. This delightful tale weaves together themes of friendship, self-discovery, and the vibrant spirit of New York City, making it a charming and laugh-out-loud read. With its playful banter and heartfelt moments, this romantic comedy captures the essence of finding love when everything seems to go wrong.
