Anne's House of Dreams

More about the book

Read the timeless classic about the fiery orphan Anne Shirley, now married, behind the hit Netflix series Anne with an E—now celebrating a hundred years of this children’s favorite. Finally, Anne and her true love, Gilbert Blythe, will be married. In the sunshine of the old orchard, surrounded by their closest friends, they’ll exchange their vows, and embark on a new life together in their dream house. But moving into a new home, even one on the beautiful misty shores of Four Winds Harbor, brings its own set of challenges and surprises. Anne and Gilbert will meet new friends and neighbors: Captain Jim, the lighthouse keeper with his haunting sea tales; Miss Cornelia Bryant, a woman who isn’t afraid to speak her mind—or her heart; and the troubled Leslie Moore, who quickly becomes one of Anne’s closest friends. As Anne and Gilbert start their family, they become deeply connected with the residents of Four Winds Harbor, sharing in both the joys and hardships that come their way.
