There is no greater photographer specializing in Krakow than Adam Bujak. He has been photographing his hometown for over fifty years. He has published several albums about the old capital of Poland, and now it is time for a new one, as the city has changed and beautified significantly. This Millennium Krakow features the cathedral, the most beautiful churches, Wawel Castle, palaces, old tenements, theaters, and museums, as well as monuments—too many to list. All of this is captured in various seasons. The extraordinary atmospheric photographs, often showcasing views inaccessible to ordinary tourists, are complemented by a vividly written text by another great lover of the city, the distinguished art historian Krzysztof Czyżewski.
