The Collected Papers of Sherlock Holmes - Volume 3

More about the book

At the age of ten in the mid-1970s, David Marcum discovered the world of Sherlock Holmes and realized that the original 60 Canonical adventures were not enough. This sparked his lifelong desire to write and contribute new stories to the Holmes legacy. Over the years, David collected and analyzed thousands of Sherlockian pastiches. In 2008, while laid off during the Great Recession, he accessed Watson's Tin Dispatch Box and produced "The Papers of Sherlock Holmes," a collection of nine short stories that had previously sat untouched in his collection. Initially published by a small press in 2011 and later by MX Publishing in 2013, this marked the beginning of his prolific writing career. Since then, David has edited over 60 volumes, primarily anthologies, and authored more than 80 Sherlockian adventures across various publications. These works are now being compiled into a series, with the first five volumes showcasing the majority of his Holmesian stories to date, with more to follow in 2022. Readers are invited to return to Baker Street and experience more authentic adventures of Sherlock Holmes, as described by Dr. Watson as "the best and wisest . . . whom I have ever known." Volume III features 22 Holmes adventures, including tales like "The Adventure of the Pawnbroker's Daughter" and "The Civil Engineer's Discovery." The game is afoot!
