Kazu Jones, scrappy fifth grade detective, is back on the case with her friends and fellow crime solvers, March, CindeeRae, and Madeleine. There's a vandal targeting local comic book stores with anti-comic graffiti, and the team is determined to solve the mystery before their beloved shop, The Super Pickle, gets hit. When they trace the vandal's secret identity-the Dark Writer-back to a rare comic book series, they realize the case has ties to one of the biggest superhero franchises in the nation.
