Epicoene

The plot centers on Morose, a wealthy man obsessed with silence, who intends to marry the seemingly quiet Epic ne to disinherit his nephew, Dauphine. Unbeknownst to Morose, Dauphine orchestrates the match for his own benefit. After the wedding, Morose's hopes are dashed when Epic ne turns out to be loud and nagging, leading him to seek a divorce. The twist reveals Epic ne as a boy, culminating in a comical confrontation that exposes the absurdity of the characters and their schemes.
