Lay Down My Sword and Shield

Haunted by his past experiences in the Korean War and the legacy of his ancestors, Hack Holland is a disillusioned lawyer and wealthy progressive Democrat struggling with his identity. As he runs a lackluster campaign for a Texas congressional seat, his life takes a turn when he becomes embroiled in a civil rights conflict while trying to assist an old war buddy. This journey forces him to confront his memories and ultimately rebuild his life amidst the challenges he faces.
