Pearl-Maiden

Set in ancient Egypt, the narrative follows Miriam, the daughter of a Jewish pearl merchant, whose life is upended when her father is falsely accused of theft and sentenced to death. As she flees, she finds refuge with a wealthy Egyptian family and becomes entangled in a love triangle between Ameni, an Egyptian nobleman, and Marcus, a Jewish prince.
