More about the book
Richard Horatio Edgar Wallace was a prolific English writer known for his thrillers and contributions to early 20th-century literature. His experiences as a war correspondent during the Second Boer War and his reporting on Belgian atrocities in the Congo heavily influenced his work. Wallace gained fame with titles like The Four Just Men and Sanders of the River, and later ventured into Hollywood as a scriptwriter for RKO. His sudden death in 1932 occurred while he was drafting King Kong, leaving behind a legacy that once accounted for a significant portion of England's published works.
