A Wicked Winter

Set in the medieval country of Noediem, the story follows Francois Cassel, a squire to the injured knight Lauchant. As Lauchant and the King's Guard confront a raiding band from Ballenrue, Francois unexpectedly rises to the occasion, instilling fear in the raiders and forcing them to retreat. This tale explores themes of bravery and the bond between a squire and his knight amidst the backdrop of conflict and heroism.
