Dread Tribunal of Last Resort

Set against the backdrop of the Civil War, the story follows Decker Brown, a young Virginian with dreams of manufacturing fireworks and a future with Paula Crane, the daughter of a mill owner. As the nation divides, their differing loyalties strain their relationship—Decker supports the Republic, while Paula hesitates to fight against her community.
