Balance of Power

The story unfolds on the planet Attica, where the indigenous alien population is confined to Delta while Earth colonizes Lambda. As Mariel Valory and Alex Alexander embark on a journey aboard the Daedalus to make contact with the aliens, they discover that contact has already been established. The aliens are constructing an empire using Terran technology, but internal conflicts threaten its stability. Stranded and facing unforeseen challenges, Mariel and Alex must navigate the complexities of this alien society.
