Florida orange grower Michael Barnes is in New York to meet with his ad agency. He has a couple of hours to kill so he stops at a bar for a drink. Within no time, he's scammed by a shady blonde, robbed by a bogus policeman, framed for the murder of a slimy movie producer and running from the mob, the cops and a hired killer.
