This new edition has been made more digestible by dividing some of the longer chapters. It has been fully revised and takes account of recent very important case law, particularly the decisions of the House of Lords in B (a minor) and K (strict liability), Morgan Smith (provocation) and Hinks (theft). It includes statutory changes, particularly those made by the Sexual Offences (Amendment) Act 2000 and the--so far slight-- impact of the Human Rights Act 1998 on the substantive criminal law.
