In this work, Uwe Ommer traveled for four years across 150 countries to create an album showcasing the diverse families of the planet: nuclear, polygamous, fragmented, or supportive, with or without animals, all set against a simple white background. Each photograph is accompanied by a text that explores the history of the family depicted.
