More about the book

The London pop band "Bruno and the Hermetic Tradition" is traveling along the coast of North Kent in search of a suitable spot to host an open-air festival. As they near the beach, they discover a small cove near a chemical plant and a marine research station. They decide to have a picnic as night falls and later venture into the water for a swim. Suddenly, a horrifying figure emerges from the depths, dressed in flight gear. It turns out a pilot has gone missing after presumably crashing his small aircraft into the sea days earlier. He should be dead by now, and his appearance suggests he is. The young people flee in terror. Meanwhile, outside the three-mile limit, a disc jockey on the pirate radio station Jolly Roger makes a strange discovery while fishing off the back of his boat. Initially thinking he has caught the catch of a lifetime, he soon faces a shocking surprise. Events along the coast begin to spiral out of control.
