More about the book

A heavy gold wristwatch, a diary, and a warning letter from a deceased neighbor are all Christian inherits. The warning is clear: traveling backward in time deletes a microsecond from existence, attracting the attention of a future policing agency intent on killing time travelers. Christian Steele, haunted by childhood memories of school shootings, feels a deep empathy for the victims. His heart shatters with each tragic news story, fueling his anger and desire for vengeance. When he inherits a time-travel device, he sees a chance to save those children. His mission becomes clear: to prevent every school shooting in history. But as he embarks on this dangerous journey, he must confront the moral implications of his actions and the cost of altering the past. Scott McElhaney, the international bestselling author known for the Mystic Saga and other acclaimed works, delivers a gripping narrative that explores the complexities of time travel and the weight of empathy. With over 300,000 books downloaded worldwide, McElhaney’s storytelling is praised for its pace and character engagement. Critics highlight his ability to immerse readers in the story, making them feel like part of the action. This thought-provoking tale challenges the boundaries of right and wrong in the pursuit of justice.
