Michelle Segar

    Michelle L. Segar is a behavioral sustainability scientist and Director of the Sport, Health, & Activity Research and Policy (SHARP) Center at the University of Michigan. She teaches and publishes on how sport and physical activity can positively impact people's lives. Her work focuses on how we can better support people to engage in physical activity throughout their lives and reap its health and well-being benefits. While her academic work centers on behavior and policy, her approach is deeply human-centered, aiming to make sport and movement accessible and joyful for all.
