Dva romány, z nichž první (Ďábel v těle, 1923) je příběhem lásky mladého studenta k vdané ženě v době 1. světové války a druhý (Ples u hraběte d'Orgel, 1924) psychologickým románem s milostnou zápletkou.

Román Bál u grófa d’Orgel, ktorý sa práve dostáva do rúk slovenského čitateľa, je druhým a posledným dielom predčasne zosnulého spisovateľa. Raymond Radiguet zomiera ako dvadsaťročný a iba jasnozrivosti rodiaceho sa umeleckého génia možno pripísať jeho schopnosť klinicky presne vystihnúť problematiku vznikajúceho manželského trojuholníka. Autor umiestnil svojich hrdinov do odumierajúceho sveta francúzskej šľachty a zbaviac sa tým nevyhnutnosti vykresľovať spoločenské pozadie, mohol sa sústrediť na jemnú analýzu duševného života svojich troch protagonistov. Grófka d’Orgel sa zamiluje do manželovho priateľa Francoisa de Séryeuse a postupne sa z tejto náklonnosti vyvinie obojstranne silný cit. Obaja s ním, každý svojím spôsobom, bojujú. Mladá žena dokonca hľadá spojenca vo Francoisovej matke. Ako to už v takýchto prípadoch býva, najmenej informovaný je manžel, istý si láskou svojej ženy i priateľskou oddanosťou jej obdivovateľa.

Radiguetov Diabol v tele je výpoveďou mladého človeka žijúceho na začiatku 20. storočia. Hrdina románu dospieva v búrlivých časoch I. svetovej vojny a jeho citové rozpory a neistota sú odrazom rozporných a neistých čias. Autor odhaľuje najtajnejšie a najprotikladnejšie myšlienky mladého chlapca a ich prostredníctvom odkrýva pravú tvár vtedajšieho sveta. Ako protiklad ukrutnostiam vojny stavia najkrajší ľudský cit — lásku. Úprimnosť, čistota a úspornosť vyznania radia túto útlu knižku ku klenotom svetovej literatúry. Román bol aj sfilmovaný a hlavnú postavu stvárnil legendárny Gérard Philipe.
