Immaculée Ilibagiza

    January 1, 1972

Immaculée Ilibagiza is a living example of faith in action, whose life was dramatically transformed during the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Huddled in a small bathroom for 91 days with seven other women, she emerged from unimaginable horror to find her family murdered. Having survived the genocide, Immaculée became a leading global voice on peace, faith, and forgiveness. She now dedicates her life to sharing her universal message and fostering hope.
