Fleetwood is a cookbook author specializing in the foods of Latin America. Her writing explores how food connects people and cultures. Her deep interest in cuisine is rooted in her understanding of social history, and the recipes she shares serve as bridges between tradition and modernity. Fleetwood also founded Iziko lo Lwazi, a nonprofit craft project based in Cape Town, South Africa.
