Una madre y su hijo viajan de noche. Lo hacen en coche. La carretera discurre por un bosque y, en su periplo, madre e hijo se van cruzando con los más diversos animales. No están asustados, pero sí es cierto que parece que llevan prisa. ¿Por qué? ¿Huirán de algo? ¿De algún depreador? ¿De un incendio? La madre y el hijo no se hacen más que preguntas sobre esto y, con ellas, reflexionan sobre la seguridad vial y la circulación.
