The thesis explores advancements in magnetic coupling phenomena within Tb-Fe alloys and ferri-/ferromagnetic heterostructures. It highlights how manipulating the stoichiometry of the Tb-Fe layer, alongside varying the Co/Pt multilayer repetitions and interlayer spacer thickness, can induce significant perpendicular unidirectional anisotropy at room temperature. This finding of robust perpendicular exchange bias at ambient conditions presents promising applications in the field of spintronics, potentially enhancing the performance of magnetic devices.
