Published by the International Union of Air Pollution Prevention Associations this is an invaluable reference book for anyone wishing to keep abreast of air pollution legislation around the world. Specialist organizations from over 25 countries describe their pollution problems, monitoring systems and regulatory frameworks. These countries, all of them members of IUAPPA, represent a wide range of economic and industrial development. All the chapters were prepared in 1994. While many countries have updated or extensively revised their chapters to take account of developments since the 2nd edition (1991) there are also a number of additional countries included: Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Slovenia, Sweden and Turkey.
