More about the book

The 5th Österreichische Polymertage (Austrian Polymer Meetings), held in Leoben, Austria, in September 2001, not only showcased the best of Austrian polymer science, but attracted researchers from around the world. While the focus of the meeting was on polymer engineering and science in areas such as synthesis, polymer physics, modification and characterization, interesting contributions on materials properties and theory were also presented. Fifty-three of the presentations from the meeting are collected in this volume of Macromolecular Symposia, giving a general survey of the chemical and physical aspects of polymer engineering and science.
