If the reader is interested in history, travel, food, statistics, or if they just want to practise reading in English, they should find something in this book. It is appropriate for use with Level 2 of the Cambridge English Course, or other course books at this level. It is designed to encourage learners to pick and choose what to read according to their interests and ability. Containing extracts from books, magazines and newspapers, it has been presented so as to be accessible to low-level learners. Optional mini-tasks are included to check comprehension.
