The Tropentag conference focuses on development-oriented research in tropical and subtropical agriculture, food security, and rural development. In 2021, it adapted to challenges posed by recent years by hosting a hybrid format, allowing participants to join both in person at the University of Hohenheim and the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, as well as online via Zoom and YouTube.
