Focusing on the humanitarian crisis of divided families between North and South Korea, this study examines the profound impact of the Korean War on countless individuals who have not reunited with their relatives for decades. It highlights the broader context of human rights in North Korea and fills a gap in academic literature by presenting firsthand accounts from interviews conducted in 2001.
