The story follows an autistic eleven-year-old boy named Alex, who believes winning a trophy at the PAWS Dog Show with his cockapoo, Kevin, will help him make friends as he transitions to middle school. Faced with the challenges of change and the complexities of social interactions, Alex learns that true friendship may not hinge on popularity, but rather on genuine connections.
