A Fine Summer's Day

Set against the backdrop of June 1914, the story explores the romantic aspirations of Ian Rutledge, who is eager to propose to his beloved despite concerns from those around him about her suitability. Meanwhile, Hamish MacLeod, a Scottish Highlander, is also preparing to ask his sweetheart for her hand in marriage.
