Markéta Šichtařová

Markéta Šichtařová is a Czech economist, blogger and author of popular texts mainly from the areas of economics and financial markets. She works with her husband, Vladimir Pikora.
She studied at university VŠE in Prague, majoring in economic policy and financial markets, and graduated from study in Germany. It has three Securities Commission brokerage diplomas (for investment instrument trading, portfolio management and advisory activities, and for Financial Derivatives) and two English state exams. She worked in analytical positions at Volksbank CZ, where she eventually became chief economist. She left the position at the age of 28 to set up her own analytics and consulting company, Next Finance, s.r.o. She is also a blogger on iDNES.cz who announced her blogger of the year in 2011, 2015, 2017 and 2018. He regularly responds to questions from the Parliamentary gazette portal. It airs on Friday days at approximately 12:40 p.m. on Impuls radio. He writes articles to Echo24 and iDNES media.
In 2006 and 2007, she was part of a team of economic advisers to The Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic, Vlastimil Tlusty.She pointed to problems with the upcoming pension reform (2011) and its potential effects on the population.She was never a member of any political party or reported to support any political grouping. In his books, he subscribes to political conservatism, classical economic liberalism, and the theory of public choice. From August 2019 to February 2020, she advised on a commercial basis as an external advisor to The Tricolour Movement, Vaclav Klaus Jr., became the guarantor of the movement's programme for the development of the economy and the business environment.
