The 2002 Yearbook of Medical Informatics takes as its theme the topic of Medical Imaging Informatics. The present Yearbook includes papers selected from the literature for the period April 2000 to March 2001. As is customary, the 2002 Yearbook includes a number of original review articles, Which focus primarily on this year's theme.
