James W. Redhouse Books

Sir James William Redhouse was a pioneering author of the original and authoritative Ottoman-English dictionary. Commissioned by the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions, his extensive work became the foundation for numerous subsequent Turkish-English dictionaries.
