Irfan Peci
Former German head of the "Global Islamic Media Front" of the Al-Qaeda terrorist network. Now an expert on Islamism who advises media, political parties and private individuals.
I was born in Serbia in 1989 and grew up in the Upper Palatinate region of Bavaria. I came into contact with Islamism as a teenager and became radicalised.
In 2007, I became the German head of the ‘Global Islamic Media Front’ of the al-Qaida terrorist network. My activities as an Islamist propagandist landed me in prison. I managed to leave Islamism while in prison. After my release from prison, I began to observe the Salafist scene for the domestic secret service. This prevented dozens of Islamists from travelling to war zones, prevented a planned terrorist attack at an early stage and dried up the financial flows of various terrorist groups.
Today, I advise the media, political parties and private individuals on the subject of Islamism.
