“Lord! Let Me See You!” People basically seek for God for their natural eager. The highest level that one can reach is Liqaullah: the vision of God. But here arises a big question: Is it possible to see God and how? Even children today are eager to see God, so they ask in their own language: “Dear God, can I see you?” In this sense, Imam Ali’s speech is to be understood when he answered his follower’s question, ‘whether he (the Imam) would ever have seen Allah’, saying: “How can I worship something that I do not see?” But at the same time, the Imam said: “Eyes do not reach Him through physical sight, but hearts with the true faith do!”

Theology of Life Shia Islam is described as a life program that corresponds to human spiritual and physical nature (Fitra). In this coordination there is a great potential to guide man and bring him closer to God; now and here. Theology of life, based on knowledge (education), wisdom (of the Quran and the Sunnah) and relationship (through supplication and prayer), and claims universal validity. At the forum of its social commitment, Shia Islam deals not only with the Muslims as brothers in faith alone, but also with all people - and especially with the book owners - and extends the hand of scientific and practical cooperation to them. In doing so, he tries to pave the way for a non-violent coexistence on the basis of a “just peace”.

Shiite Vitality Why is Shia Islam in the “Age of the Decline of Religions” Dynamic? To answer this question, this study will briefly refer to its main reasons, such as: - The Religion of Islam. - The Plausible Belief System. - The Holy Quran. - The Prophet Muhammad (s). - The Authentic Transfer of Islam by the Infallible Imams (s). - The Efforts of Muslim Scholars. - The Fidelity of the Individual Muslims. - The Faithful Perception of Being. - The Shiite Sources of Knowledge. - Living under Supervision of a living Imam.

Beginning of the End! Shia Islam has made a new beginning in recent decades and become a cosmopolitan community. This is just the beginning and not the end. Because the presence of living pure Imam (Imam Mahdi) causes Shia Islam and Shiites to grow more and opens the horizon of the expectants for the peaceful future to establish the “Just state”. So, his followers should be peacemakers and seek “just defense”! We see “the end of history” not as the end of mankind, but as the end of tyranny and the begin of the World State of Imam Mahdi (a). We also believe that just people will inherit the earth and the oppressed will be the leaders on earth. So said Imam Jafar as-Sadiq (s): Every group of people has a government, that they look forward to! Our Ahl-ul-Bait government will be emerged, at the end of the world! لِكُلِّ أُنَاسٍ دَوْلَةٌ يَرْقُبُونَهَا وَ دَوْلَتُنَا فِي آخِرِ الدَّهْرِ تَظْهَرُ

History: “Magistra Bouna!” Shiite “Theology of History” attempts to explain the reasons for development of human history and the life forms of individuals and groups in the light of Revelation. This gives a living idea, which shapes our present and determines our future. History as our magistra bouna (good master), introduces us learning paths of authentic events that have taken place in the “life stories” and the “belief story” of the prophets and their peoples.

Living (in) History History is a space of action and Flourishing: A divine salvific Action, which is expanding in the historical space structured by God’s salvific plans. History is a kind of revelation by which God wants to guide man to act responsibly and in the sense of his reason. In the light of this message, the prophets preached love, brotherhood, abstinence from all evil and, above all, how to control and harness one’s willpower and use one’s intellect for the flourishing of mankind. History as revelation is a learning path or an understanding journey to God!

The Message of History Shia Islam was convinced that God’s ultimate message was salvation of mankind, which was ultimately revealed in the Holy Quran. This salvation, as the vocation of the Prophets, should now be respected in culture and politics and in the entirety of our thinking! This study refers to some important messages of the history, such as: - Theological message: Plausible Faith. - Moral message: Al-Ibrah. - Interreligious message: Dialogue. - Nonviolent message: Peaceful Coexistence. - Social message: “Just Peace”. - Salvific message: The Covenant. - Mystical Message: The Urge to Perfection. - Eschatological Message: Salvation. - Futurological Message: Expectation of the Longed-For Imam (a)!

The Man of the Future The man of our time is either a “perfect man”, or an “ordinary man”. The “perfect man” is Imam Mahdi, and the average human being, all of us. Likewise, the man of the future is either a perfect man (Imam Mahdi) or an ordinary man, who obeys the longed-for Imam Mahdi. The ordinary people are either a real Mahdawi or a little bit less or not at all Mahdawi. The more Mahdavi the man of today is, the better his future will be, because the future lays in the light of Imam Madi (a).

God’s Co-Workers This volume deals with topics related to the “theology of community”. We as the Islamic World Community (Ummah) believe, who work for “just peace” and nonviolence are God’s Co-Workers. So, we try to pave the way for sustainable Co-Working in God’s presence. On this basis we build a new socio-political culture of cooperation between Islamic and other cultures. The belief in non-violence should be the essence of our personality, the characteristic by which we can be recognized as Muslims and as “Co-Workers of God”: Building on this hope, we could be able to get the state of the “Co-Workers of God” and to turn our identity to live as friends of God.

The Shia Originally the “Shia” is as old as Islam itself, and in the reality “Shia” is one of the Islamic schools of theology and law that is widespread in all countries. The term “Shiite” is used for Muslims who follow the Prophet Muhammad (s) and the Imams of his family (Ahl-ul-Bait) and strive for their school in all areas of knowledge. In a hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (s) said: “Good news, oh Ali! Truly, you and your Shia, you will be in paradise”. This Study focuses on the belief and thinking of the Imamite world community!
