The "6 Songs for Soprano and Piano" based on verses from "The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam" were composed in Zurich around 1991. Nos. 3, 5, and 6 were performed on May 15, 1993, at Stadtcasino Basel.

"Two pieces for Orchestra" features two compositions by Anastasios Karamanlis, created years after his studies in Zürich. "Elegie" is romantic, while "Serenade" adopts a passacaglia form with a recurring theme. Instrument parts are available separately. Germany, 2020.

Sollten wir warten? (should we wait?) „Warten ?“ means „Waiting ?“. Waiting for something to happen, wishing it does come someday is a very stressfull situation and not at all productive. It is also a very static one and can be very unpleasant. Therefore the question that arise is „should we wait?“ That is what is being expressed through this music. „Warten ?“ is my first composition for a full orchestra. The original title has been “Quartett für 4 Flötistinnen” since it was written for the “SAMO-Quartett“, which consisted of 4 female flute students at the Musikhochschule und Konservatorium Zürich”. The 3 parts of the composition are written for different instruments. Part I: 3 flutes in C, 1 flute in G (alt) Part II: 4 piccoli! Part III: the whole family: piccolo, flute in C, flute in G, bass flute Printed score was made on an Atari ST using Notator and HP Deskjet Plus. Instrument parts also exist.
