Sebastian Pirling, born in 1979, has been captivated by other worlds since his youth. After studying German literature and working various jobs as an editor and graphic designer, he now serves as an editor for science fiction, fantasy, and young adult literature at Heyne Verlag. Pirling is married, has two children, and lives in Munich.
