Das Stoffgesetz berücksichtigt das komplexe nichtlineare Kriechverhalten unter konstanten und veränderlichen Spannungen. Für den Fall der Relaxation erfolgt die Lösung der zugrundeliegenden Integralbeziehung anhand eines numerischen Algorithmus. Grundlage für die Entwicklung und Optimierung des Modells bildete ein umfassendes Versuchsprogramm zum Kriechen und der Relaxation von im jungen Alter belasteten Betonen. Für die Verknüpfung der dort gewonnenen Erkenntnisse mit dem Spannungs-Dehnungs-Zeitverhalten von Beton mit höheren Belastungsaltern wird auf den in der Literatur veröffentlichten Kenntnisstand zurückgegriffen.
