Boy-Želeňski Tadeusz

Tadeusz Żeleński, known as Boy, was a prominent figure on the Polish literary scene in the first half of the 20th century. As a writer, poet, critic, and above all, a translator of over a hundred French literary classics into Polish, he left an indelible mark. His work, influenced by the Young Poland movement, often provoked and questioned contemporary norms. Boy was not only a literary enfant terrible but also a celebrated translator who brought French classics closer to Polish readers.
