Aviaq Johnston Series

Aviaq Johnston is a young Inuk author from Igloolik, Nunavut. Her debut novel Those Who Run in the Sky, released in the spring of 2017, delved into a world with northern mythology and characters. Johnston explores Inuit culture and mythology through her writing, weaving elements of tradition and modern life into her narratives. Her work is characterized by a strong storytelling voice and a deep connection to her homeland.
