This study aimed to find out the relationship between the problem-solving skills and academic performance in Mathematics of selected sophomore students of Glan School of Arts and Trades (GSAT). The problem-solving skills of the students in Mathematics were defined by (1) understanding a problem, (2) planning a solution, (3) carrying out a plan and (4) looking back. On the other hand, academic performance was focused in terms of grade performance percentage (GPA) of the students in their Mathematics class.

Student's Automaticity of Math Facts and Mathematical Performance
Basis for Computer-Aided Enhancement Program ''MATHRIX''
- 64 pages
- 3 hours of reading
Mastering basic math facts is crucial for students to tackle more complex subjects like Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus. The inability to quickly and accurately answer simple math problems can lead to poor performance and increased math anxiety. Many students struggle to develop these essential skills in elementary school, which results in teachers needing to re-teach these concepts in junior high, detracting from the curriculum. The book advocates for technology-based intervention programs to help students enhance their automaticity in math, preparing them for 21st-century problem-solving skills.
