Saoirse is cast away to another world by her brother to hide her away from the war raging in Gandros. On her passage she is injured, losing her sight and memory. She is lost and alone. Each step she takes towards finding her way in this new world is entangled with her curiosity about who she really is. One night she dreams of almost familiar movement and colours, with no idea it's her homeland. She meets an enigmatic dream dropper, following him beyond the edge of reason to find family, truth and herself, only to be confronted with betrayal and greed. She must learn who and how to trust in order to survive. The world is a perilous place for a lost woman without sight.
