Sekien Toriyama Books

Toriyama Sekien is a precursor to the ukiyo-e woodblock print genre, whose artistic work focused almost exclusively on the depiction of monsters and ghosts. His supernatural creations are rooted in traditional texts and earlier artworks. Sekien's compilation, comprising four volumes, became a seminal work for the yokai genre.
