Forrester James S. Books

James S. Forrester, MD, is an emeritus professor of cardiology and former chief of cardiology. His career has been dedicated to advancing the treatment of heart attack patients, notably by developing the Forrester classification, which revolutionized critical care. He also co-developed the Diamond-Forrester method for diagnostic heart testing, a widely adopted global standard. As a dedicated mentor, he has guided numerous cardiologists and authored over 400 scientific manuscripts, profoundly shaping contemporary cardiovascular medicine and medical education.
