Barbara Brauner grew up surrounded by an abundance of books, a testament to her father's love for literature. After a formative period working in the film industry in Los Angeles, she found a dedicated writing partner in James Iver Mattson, and their collaboration continues to this day. Brauner's passion for stories is as evident in her life as it is in her work, a spirit that also extends to her uniquely affectionate rescue cat, Jeeves.
