Raymond Garlick was an Anglo-Welsh poet and editor deeply committed to the Welsh language. Beyond his foundational role as the first editor of The Anglo-Welsh Review, he also contributed as a lecturer and critic. His non-violent advocacy for the Welsh language infused his literary perspective, exploring themes of cultural heritage and belonging.
